ASSISTANT DEAN, CÉSAR RITZ COLLEGES SWITZERLAND, LE BOUVERET CAMPUS
Sylvana Navarro is assistant dean of Le Bouveret campus. Before joining César Ritz Colleges, she spent more than 20 years within the hospitality industry in various capacities, including operations, sales, and human resources. Her professional background comes mainly from working for large hotel groups such as Four Seasons, Starwood, and Hilton. In her previous role, Sylvana was responsible for the events department at Mövenpick, a major Swiss hospitality brand. She is in charge of developing the César Ritz Colleges Switzerland hospitality program with the latest trends of the industry through innovation and entrepreneurship. Sylvana holds an MBA with emphasis in global management and is working towards her master’s in education from the University of Derby (UK).
Max R. Behesht
DEAN, CÉSAR RITZ COLLEGES SWITZERLAND AND CULINARY ARTS ACADEMY SWITZERLAND, LUCERNE CAMPUS
R. Max Behesht it the Dean of César Ritz Colleges and Culinary Arts Academy Switzerland, Lucerne campus. He is a multilingual keynote speaker and the founder of R.M.B. Group, a boutique training and consulting firm within Hospitality, Customer Experience, Employee Engagement & Leadership. In 2015 he authored “The Servicizer™ Mindset”, a cultural add-on concept, driving excellence across entire organizations. He started his career heading operations at STS Language Schools in Malta, and Bournemouth, UK, and has prior to joining Swiss Education Group held multiple finance, service, and commercial roles with the science company DuPont. His global roles and 25 relocations over the past 20 years have enabled him to positively engage, communicate with and influence the diverse and global range of SEG Students. He has undergone Business Administration studies at The School of Business, Economics and Law, Gothenburg University, Sweden, European Business School, EBS, Germany, and The Graduate School of Business Administration, Kobe University, Japan.
DEAN, CÉSAR RITZ COLLEGES SWITZERLAND AND CULINARY ARTS ACADEMY SWITZERLAND
Tanja is passionate about entrepreneurship, sustainability, and innovation and enjoys sharing her knowledge with students. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Hotel Administration from Cornell University, an MBA from Tel Aviv University, and a Master of Arts in Higher Education/Higher Education Administration from the University of Derby. She is currently pursuing her doctorate.
